What is SnapTrade?
SnapTrade is a brokerage-connectivity service that lets an app securely read a user's brokerage account and place orders in it, without the app ever holding the user's login or funds.
SnapTrade acts as the secure bridge between a platform and a user's existing broker. The user authorizes the connection through the broker, and the platform can then read positions and place orders within the permissions granted. The platform never sees the broker password and cannot move money out.
Candella connects your brokerage account through SnapTrade, which is why it is non-custodial: your funds stay in your own broker, and Candella only places the copy orders you have approved.
